Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes
Robert Sangster Stakes
Speed Passive Aggressive, Marabi, Seradess lead a fast tempo here. Behind that it gets messy. Bella Nipotina back in the field.
Runner-by-runner
1 Bella Nipotina [$4.00] is a Group 1 winner and the Maher and Eustace / Melham combination is a big positive at this price point.
4 Zapateo [$4.00] was brilliant last start but now has to take on a true Group 1 horse in Bella Nipotina. JMac to Ollie is a bit of a question mark.
6 Passive Aggressive [$5.00] failed last start but was it the wet track? Does have the class to win this.

5 September Run [$10] came into this fresh last year and ran third. She’s a bit behind the top three, but is a chance
3 Marabi [$12] won the Oakleigh Plate winner last prep and can’t be ruled out. She’ll need to be at peak fitness first-up to win. Watch the market.
7 Espiona [$13] has back-to-back wins and is now back to 1200m. Is it too sharp?
2 Roch N Horse [$26] seems to produce up the straight at Flemington.
I don’t give the rest much hope here: 12 Another Award [$34], 14 Imlovinya [$31], 9 Literary Magnate [$21], 10 Seradess [$31], 8 Chain Of Lightning [$26], 11 Diamonds [$71].
Betting strategy
Best bet Bella Nipotina
I’m going to stick with the favourite here. I like Melham on Maher / Eustace horses and she is a proven Group 1 performer.
Good luck!
