This is another game that is heavily affected by Origin.
I feel for Souths, who were just starting to build some momentum but now must make do without Latrell and Cam Murray. But luckily for them, Manly are also missing a ton of troops due to injury and Origin duties.
On my ratings, Manly are missing their best players in DCE, Olaka’atu, Tommy Turbo, L Croker, Reuben Garrick, Jake T and Paseka. That is a ridiculous amount of talent to try and overcome.
While Souths have a lot of injuries of their own, most of these are longer term ones that they have had to overcome, so I think Souths head into this with a far more coherent line up.
Souths still have Cook, Wighton, Walker and KK so they have some of their big name players lining up and are in the middle of a surprising purple patch and at home!
